Friday fingers // Bandana Nails

I've always admired the bandana pattern but have been intimidated to try it on my nails. Luckily it wasn't too terrifying, but I would recommend using Sally Hansons nail art pen. If you aren't satisfied you can easily wipe it off, making it one million times easier and less stressful. Also last reminder on the giveaway which can also be found below. I'll be emailing the winners tonight at 12:00am.

 Supplies

#1. Top coat
#2. Red polish // Essie's Russian Roulette //
#3. White nail art pen
#4. 40 minutes of your time

Step one: Paint your nails red & wait 6 mins for nails to dry.

Step two: In order to get the design, start off with a pear, Hersey kiss type of shape.

Step three: Then slowly make half circles around the shape until it is completely covered.

Step four: Fill in the middle of the design with the same pear shape however this time you will leave two circles in the middle. To give it some pizzaz I added dots. You can continue this design to the rest of your nails or try out different shapes.

Step five: To give it variety, paint a curved line across. Then outline it with the same half circle design that gives it that paper dolly look. Continue doing these steps with the rest of your nails. Mix up the designs! The following pictures are other designs I played with but they all are created by the previous steps.

Step six: Add top coat & done. Remember to add another coat the day after you manicures! That way they last longer.

Cheers!

D.i.y Surprise ball

I love small and simple things; getting mail, high fives, making the yellow light and of course surprises. Ever since I ran into these surprise balls I've been hooked. I love that its packed with small meaningless items that mean everything in the world to you when you unravel them. The best part is how inexpensive they are to make! This particular bundle came out to $3 & all from party sections. Ah but the best best part is watching the reactions as they are being unravelled, its the sweetest thing.

supplies

#1. One streamer roll
#2. Eight or so simple/small goodies
#3. One sweeet sticker

Step one: Unravel your streamer and start with your first goodie!

Step two: Once you've wrapped up the first idem nice and tight, then
you move on to your second, then third, and so on.

Step three: Once all your items are wrapped into a ball, its time to
add your special sticker to hold it all in place. There you have it, a small treat to give to a special someone. Its even perfect as a small stocking stuffer.

Cheers!

Friday fingers /// D.i.y finger fuzz

Friday is here & I couldn't be happier! The weather is finally acting its age.
Here in L.A. we'll be having a whole weekend of rain & that gets me all warm and fuzzy.
Which is why Im sharing my pink fuzzy nails today. These are my go to for a quick, fun, and
easy manicure. You really hardly need anything for these pups! But I just want to warn
you, they tend to get dirty pretty easily so beware. Sadly that means finger foods are a no no.
Other than that, they are a blast to have and are totally unique!

Supplies:

#1. Pink velvet fuzz (crushed velvet)
You could either order it, or find it at Joann.

#2. Essie A Crewed Interest or a soft pink

#3. Tweezers

Step one: First things first, apply one coat of nail polish. Whats great
about this step is you can be as sloppy as you want since the
pink fuzz will cover most of your errors!

Step two: This is were you'll work fast. Apply your second coat of nail polish.
Then with the tweezers apply the pink fuzz on top of the wet polish. Once
your little pink fuzz of a mountain is sitting on top, your going to squash it
down with your finger. Making sure you cover your whole nail.

Step three:  Once you finish, there will be alot of fuzz left over on your fingers.
To fix that your simply just going to blow it off till its nice and clean! Each and everyone of them.

& There you have it, a hand full of pink fuzzy nails!

Cheers!
